This means I have crossed the halfway point of Book 6 in the Witchfire series, and things are getting darker, more dangerous, and much more emotionally intense. Elara and Cassian are facing the kind of magic, prophecy, court politics, and impossible choices that could reshape everything they have fought to protect.

This book is planned to be approximately 100,000 words, making it the biggest Witchfire story yet. It looks like it will be more like 130,000 words. The stakes are higher, the romance is deeper, and the power rising inside Elara is becoming something even the vampire court may not be ready to survive.

Chapter 21 takes us into the next major phase of the story, where secrets buried beneath the throne begin to surface—and the future of the kingdom, the crown, and the heir grows more dangerous with every step.
